Edith Farris age 58, of Hillsboro, Oregon, passed away April 4, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Edith was born July 13, 1958, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Harry Bowers Wilhelm and Venna Virginia Housley Wilhelm. She received her GED and continued her education and received her Bachelors in Behavioral Science and then her Master’s in Business Management while she was battling cancer. Edith took many photographs of new babies at St. Vincent Hospital. Her world revolved around her 3 daughters and seven grandchildren. She often times worked two jobs in order to support them in their activities. Edith is survived by her companion Mitch Snocker of Hillsboro, Oregon, daughters Paula (Cody Gibson) Villeneuve of Shelley, Kristie (Nathan) Raymond of Hillsboro, Oregon, Tera (Bryan Oriet) Farris of Beaverton, Oregon, sisters Ora (Jim) Dortch, Clara Willcoxon, Ina (James) Griffin, Chris (Peter) Sweetland all of Idaho Falls, brother, Steve (Dana) Neville of Ririe and 7 grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter Courtney Nessen. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the LDS Chapel, 364 North 4100 East, Rigby, Idaho The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Edith’s name.
