Edna M. Schneiter, 80, of Idaho Falls, died September 28, 2008 at Idaho Falls Health and Rehab.
She was born June 8, 1928, in LaBelle to Ivan Shurtliff Morgan and Jennie Fifield Morgan. She was raised in LaBelle and graduated from Rigby High School in 1946. On October 10, 1950, she married Harvey Dale Schnieter in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Edna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as primary president and primary teacher. She loved music of any kind and was a wonderful seamstress and artist.
She is survived by three daughters; Julie (Bill) Briggs, of Logan, UT, Sheila (Dean) Thompson, of Missoula, MT, Michele (Jim) Heiselmann, of Idaho Falls, a sister-in-law, Theda Schneiter, of Springboro, PA, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale, brothers, Leon and Ivan Morgan, daughters, Janiel Butikofer, and Jeanie Loveridge, and a granddaughter, Mikayla Butikofer.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and from 1:30 to 12:50 p.m. Friday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
