Edward J Birch

Edward J Birch, 53, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Menan, Idaho.

Edward was born October 13, 1971, in Rexburg, Idaho, the son of Franky Robert Birch and Percillia laker Birch. He attended elementary school in Ashton, Idaho and attended White Mountain Junior High School in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Edward was presently working at Melaleuca in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Prior to that, he worked as an oil field hand in Wyoming. In the past he has worked for Rhode House Construction and various warehouses.

Edward loved music, especially hard rock. His favorites being Slayer and Metallica. He is a self-taught guitar player where he focused on the bass. He even wrote songs. Most of all, he loved his girls. They were the world to him!

Edward is survived by his daughters, Bridgett (Bill) Herne Goldberg of Kalispell, Montana, and Smantha (Mathew Porter) Birch of Puyallup, Washington. Mother, Percillia (Carlyle) Martin or Rigby, Idaho. Brothers, Donald Frank Birch of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Darren Allen (Yolonda) Birch of Rigby, Idaho, and a half brother, Robert Looney of Washington. Sisters, Mindy Cleveland of Rigby, Idaho and a half sister, Saprina Looney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He has been blessed with three grandchildren, Iyla Goldberg, Livi Goldberg and Ryley Porter.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Franky Robert Birch.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
