Edward Janoka Pound, age 70, of Rigby, died Friday, November 29, 2002, at Pocatello
Deward was born August 6, 1932, at Columbia Falls, Montana, a son of Victor James Pound and
Florance Landon Pound. He attended schools in Kalispell and White Fish, Montana. He married
Judy Rae Frame April 2, 1971, in Havre, Montana. They were later divorced. He worked as a
long haul truck driver most of his life. He worked for Washington Construction as a truck driver
in the mining Business, and as an equipment operator building the Denver International Airport.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and photography.
Survivors include:
1 daughter Misty (Sheldon) Harris of Ririe, Idaho; 1 son Grant Edward Fisher of Kalispell,
Montana; 3 sisters: Doreen (Wesley) Grille, and Leora “Tootsie” (Lowell) O’Myer both of
Kalispell, Montana, and Shela (Juan) Garcia of Brighton, Colorado; 3 brothers: Grant (Florence)
Pound of Kalispell, Montana, Victor “Pete” (Toni) Pound of Maricopa, Arizona, and Terry
Pound of Kalispell, Montana; and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Carol “Cappy” Pound.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. in the Glacier
Cemetery, Kalispell, Montana. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, December 4,
2002, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Kalispell. Burial will be in the
Glacier Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, Idaho, and
Johnson Funeral Home in Kalispell..
