Edwin (Eddie) Roy Young, age 62, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away peacefully on, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Madison Carriage Cove.

Eddie was born March 26, 1962 a son to Roy Young and Mary Olsen Young. He attended school in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School.

Eddie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and also a member of the Special Olympics. Eddie enjoyed bowling, outdoor activities, and the summer and winter of the Special Olympics.

Eddie is survived by his sister Terri Romriell and many nieces and nephews.

Eddie is preceded by his father Roy Young, mother Mary Olsen Young, brother Kent Young, brother-in-law Arthur Romriell, and great niece Ambria Romriell.

Services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM, at Eckersell Funeral Home. Prior to the service there will be a visitation Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM at Eckersell Funeral Home.
