Eileen Anderson

Eileen Ethel May Scully Anderson, 87, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away peacefully, October, 23rd, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 5th, 1928, in Semans, Saskatchewan to Linden Hodgens Scully and Annie Elizabeth Casson. She married Keith Anderson in Victoria British Colombia, Canada, on December 27th, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on May 22, 1956. Eileen was an active member of the LDS church where she served in the primary, and as a quilting specialist for the humanitarian program, family extraction program, and later being called on a mission to the Bishop's Storehouse. Eileen was an avid seamstress, quilter, knitter, and crocheter, giving away most of her projects. She loved to can fruits and vegetables from her garden. Eileen is survived by her daughters, Judy Anderson, Rigby, and Cora Anderson, Henderson Nevada, sister, Lettecia Prete, Magrath, Alberta, Canada, and brother, Robert Scully, (Marjorie), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Keith Anderson, and her son, Bryan Anderson. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31st, at the Rigby 15th ward chapel, 602 Sundance, Rigby, 83442. Family will visit with friends and family prior to the service starting at 9:30. a.m. Interment will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. The family would like to thank the hospice staff of One Source Home Health and Hospice team for their kindness and concern as they comforted the family and Eileen in her final days.
