Emmett Jay Hall, 57, of Lewisville, Idaho died at his home Sunday, May 9, 2004.
He was born November 23, 1946 at Idaho Falls, Idaho the son of Ira Jay Hall and Letha Louize Waters Hall. He attended schools in Annis, Midway and Rigby High School. He married Lola Ann Hamilton, June 17, 1967 at Rigby, Idaho. They were later divorced. He worked as a brick Mason all over the western states and was a member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craft Workers. He was a meat cutter at Idaho Falls Meat packing. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved to hunt, fish and go steel heading.
Survivors include1 daughter Shannon Lynn (Byron) Healy of Nampa, Idaho, 1 son Tracy Jay (Wendy Jephson) Hall of Rigby, Parents Russell A. and Letha W. Johnson of Roberts, Idaho, 4 sisters Verdene L. (Kyle) Page of Paul, Idaho, RueAnn (Roy) Yearsley of Hamer, Idaho, Denice (Merrill) Tea of Menan, Idaho, Sylvia Johnson of Bountiful, Utah, 3 brothers Lyndon C. (Bonnie Hagger) Hall of Ammon, Idaho, Delwin A, (Ann) Hall of Idaho Falls, Marvin R. Johnson of Roberts, and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Ira Jay Hall and a brother Rulon Hall.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby with Bishop Jack Riggs officiating. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1:00 to 1:50 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
