Erma Delilah Jackson, 84, of Rigby died Sunday, May 23, 2004, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Erma was born on March 5, 1920 in Etna, Wyoming the daughter of Nephi Francis Christiansen and Maggie Sophia Hansen Christiansen. She attended Cole School near Boise. Erma lived in Menan for 35 years. Erma married Elwin Llewellyn Jackson on February 26, 1940 in Driggs, Idaho. Erma was a member of the Calvary Chapel Christian Church. She worked for Idaho Fresh Pak for 20 years. Erma enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, rock collecting, camping, flowers and gardening. She is survived by her daughters JoAnn Toll of Ontario, Oregon, Jean (Eddie) Poole of Rigby, Idaho, 2 sons Tharen (LaRae) Jackson of Layton, Utah, Larry (Pauline) Jackson of Rigby, Idaho one brother Bud (Faye) Christiansen of Tennessee. 22 grandchildren 36 great grandchildren.
Erma was preceded in death by her husband, one son Dale, 2 sisters, and 3 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday prior to the services at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
