Ervin Junior Smuin

Ervin Junior Smuin, 92, of Terreton, Idaho passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his home.

Ervin was born January 16, 1929, in Shelley, Idaho to William Alvin Smuin and Amelia Anne Kendall Smuin. He married Betty Lee Kendall on June 1, 1960. They were blessed with 3 sons.  He farmed with his father in the Terreton, Hamer and Monteview areas.  He joined the Army on April 21, 1954 and served in Germany for one year and was discharged April 3, 1956.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his family.

Ervin is survived by his wife Betty Smuin of Terreton, 3 Sons, Craig, Kevin (Michele), Aaron, and 2 granddaughters TyLin, and Cerina whom he loved very dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Graveside service will be held at the Fielding Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.  Family and friends may come to the Eckersell Funeral Home on Monday December 27, 2021 from 12:00 – 6:00 to see Ervin.   Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com .
