Eudora Carter Shuldberg

Eudora Carter Shuldberg, 91 of Terreton, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Ashton Living Center. She was born July 18, 1921 in Preston, Idaho to Ernest W. Carter and Anna Peterson Carter. She was raised and attended schools in Preston, graduating from Preston High School. On July 3, 1940, she married Karl H. Shuldberg in the Logan LDS Temple; they were blessed with 9 children. Eudora was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she was a faithful visiting teacher and held many teaching and leadership positions, her favorite was ward librarian where she dispensed well organized classroom materials and watched over any infants the teachers had. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Elm, of Ogden, Utah, Gloria Aldrich, of St. George, Utah, Joyce (Robert) Saunders, of Star Valley, Wyoming, Linda Smith, of Blackfoot, Idaho, Carol (Dean) McCarty of S. Jordan, Utah; sons, Larry C. (Julie) Shuldberg, of Rexburg, ID, Steven C. Shuldberg, of Terreton, Idaho, Brent C. (Jean Ann) Shuldberg, of Orem, Utah, Keith C. (Jalene) Shuldberg, of Terreton, Idaho; sisters, Marjean Ballif, of Hooper, Utah, Adelia Bell, of Bountiful, Utah, 43 grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Karl, a brother, Clyde Carter, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Terreton LDS Chapel, with Bishop Shawn Grover, conducting. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the West Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby.
