Eva May Coleman

November 30, 1914 — January 24, 2008

Eva May Coleman, age 93, of Terreton, died at the home of her daughter Thursday, January 24, 2008. She was born November 30, 1914, at Garfield, Idaho, a daughter of Stephen John Miller and Cora May Ellis Miller. She was raised and attended schools in Garfield. May 18, 1938, she married Waldo Everett Coleman in the Salt Lake City, L.D.S. Temple. She worked as a Nurses Assistant in California for two years. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church and served as a counselor in the Relief Society. She enjoyed music, and played the piano and organ. Eva loved flowers and raised beautiful flower gardens. She is survived by a daughter; Phyllis (Ron) Laird of Monteview, two sons; Robert (Karen) Coleman of Mud Lake, Rex (Ann) Coleman of Terreton, and twelve grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, with Bishop Ken Hall, officiating. The family will visit with friends From 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, at the Terreton Stake Center, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in the Grant Central Cemetery.
