Evan Ray Jones

Evan “Ray” Jones, age 75, of Menan, Idaho died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Pocatello. Ray was born February16, 1928, in Rigby, Idaho a son of Wilford Thomas Jones and Stella Mae Eschler Jones. Ray attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. Ray served in the Army for 6 years operating heavy equipment. He worked for Egbert Sheep Company herding sheep for 20 years. Survivors include one son James Ray Jones of Douglas, Arizona, one sister Bobra Cleverley of Glendale, Arizona, and one brother Jerry Jones of Menan, Idaho. A wake will be held in memory of Ray at the Watson’s Bar in Menan on Saturday, October 25, 2003 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
