Evan Gene Myler, 46 of Rigby, Idaho passed away November 18, 2015.
Evan was born August 15, 1969, in Rexburg, Idaho a son of Ronald Gene and Marilyn Kite Myler. He was raised and attended school in Ririe. He was an all-conference high school wrestler and football player, and a standout classmate at Ririe High School. Evan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Calgary Alberta Canada L.D.S. Mission from 1989-1991.
Evan married his best friend and high school sweetheart Amy Kim Rose on February 14, 1992 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. He graduated from the University of Idaho in April of 1995 with a bachelor’s degree. He worked for the I.N.L from 1995 until the present working as a Senior Environmental Engineer. Evan was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman who loved to snow machine and do anything outside. He lived his life to the fullest and gave 150% in all his endeavors. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends who he served.
Evan is survived by his wife Amy of Rigby, daughters Alexandria Anne Myler, Megan Marilyn Myler and son Mitchell Gene Myler all of Rigby, his parents Ronald and Marilyn Myler of Idaho Falls, Brothers, Alan (JoAnna) Myler of Ririe and Neal Myler of Annis.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
