Floyd Keith Gneiting

Floyd Keith Gneiting, age 74, of Roberts, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Floyd was born March 13, 1939 at Rexburg, Idaho, son of John Everett and Jennie Gneiting. He grew up on the Reno Ranch near Dubois and attended schools in Clark County. He married Sherry Massengale and they later divorced. He married Gladys M. Day, October25, 1985 in Blackfoot, ID and they later divorced. He worked for the Reno Ranch and he worked at the INL as a construction laborer for over 20 years. He was a member of a local union #155 and a member of the NRA for several years. He was a member of the LDS church. He enjoyed hunting, camping, four wheeling and fishing. He loved the outdoors and he loved his dogs. Floyd is survived by his three daughters Scarlett (Ed) Randall of Meridian, ID, Sheirah (Garth) McMurray of Xenia OH, Peggy (Benjamin) Burns of Bakersfield, CA, his three sons Rhett (Dixie) McNett of Cedar City, UT, Shane (Linda) Barzee of Lewisville, ID, Troy (Tami) McNett of Idaho Falls, ID, 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a son Darren Barzee. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday January 7, 2014 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. The family will be receiving friends at 7:00-8:30 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel at 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will be held at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery in Annis. Condolences may be sent to the family online at eckersellfuneralhome.com
