Kee Crank, 76, of Rigby, passed away Monday, November 09, 2015, at the Eastern Idaho Reginal Medical Center.
Kee was born December 9, 1938 in Black Mesa, Arizona, a son of Brig and Alice Russell Crank. He was raised and attended the Kayenta Boarding School in Kayenta, Arizona and graduated from the Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City, Utah. Kee married Helen Bertha Call on November 7, 1964 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. He was a journeyman printer and worked for Printcraft Press in Idaho Falls for forty years. Kee was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting, horses, and raising cattle and riding four wheelers. He loved his children and grandchildren and was an avid Rigby Trojan Fan. He was a proud member of the Navajo Nation.
Kee is survived by his daughters, Rachel (Jeff) Anderson of Menan, Sheryl (Dustin) Coles of Rigby, son Michael Kee (Janice) Crank of Idaho Falls, sisters Thelma Johnson, Rose (Herb) Yazzie, Sally Chief all of Black Mesa, Arizona, brothers Eli Crank Simon Crank of Black Mesa, Arizona and Johnston Crank of Dennehotso, Arizona., 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Kee was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Rigby 14th Ward (602 Sundance) in Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W. Main Street) and prior to the service from 9:30– 10:45 a.m at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
