Frances Moreland

Frances Guinevere “Guin” Moreland, 78, of Rigby, passed away September 22, 2008 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1930, in Eager, Arizona to Malon Bruce Layton and Delma Hamblin Layton. She attended school in The Blue one room school house in Arizona and Portland, Oregon. “Guin” loved to play board games, paint, and make pottery. She was a wonderful cook and an avid reader. She is survived by daughters; Mary Ann Noel, Sandra D. Gartman, sons; James Harry Moreland, David Richard Moreland, Steven Hold Moreland, all of Alabama, brothers; Yale (Kathleen) Junius Layton, of Rigby, Ronald (Eunice) Jack Layton, of Rexburg, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A graveside service and interment were held in the Eager Cemetery, Eager, and Arizona. Local services provided by Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
