Francisca Rodriguez

Francisca Rodriguez, aged 57, passed away on Thursday, September 16th, 2021 at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho.

She was born in Mexico’s Federal District on September 9th of 1964 and was the second child of Odilon Rodriguez and Ana Maria Madin Cervantez. Francisca graduated from Corning Union High School in Corning, CA after emigrating from Mexico with her parents and siblings. Upon completing her high school education, Francisca completed two years at Shasta College in Redding, CA.

She dedicated her life to serving Christ and caring for children. She was an active Youth and AWANA leader at Glacier Valley Baptist Church in Juneau, AK for many years and participated as a leader in a Youth Mission trip to the country of Guatemala. Throughout her years she devoted her time to caring for her infant nieces and the children of close family friends.

She is survived by her mother; her three sisters Silvina Grant and Teresa and Veronica Rodriguez; her brother Odilon Rodriguez; her three nieces Violeta Carlson, Edna Grant, and Celeste Vieira; and her great niece Mia Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her father, Odilon Rodriguez.

Services will be held Saturday, September 25th at 1 p.m. at Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Rigby, Idaho.
