Frank Howard Jensen, formerly of Rigby, Idaho, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 of a hemorrhagic stroke. He was born in Bell, California on June 25, 1942 and was raised in Rigby by Donna (Humphrey) and Arden Jensen. After high school, he served in the Idaho National Guard and served as an LDS missionary in the California Mission. He attended Ricks College and graduated from Brigham Young University and the San Fernando Valley College of Law. Frank married Marianne Berger on June 12, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised their two daughters in Southern California. In 1974, he passed the California Bar and practiced law until retiring in 2015. Frank and Marianne retired to Nampa, Idaho in 2016. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. His favorite hobbies were fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River, reading, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Marianne, daughters Julie (Jake) Danible and Christie (Ron) Hunt; grandchildren James (Lexy) Danible, Alex Danible, Lisette (Jason) Shipp and Jake Danible; great-grandsons Kaysen and Brixton Danible; sisters Charleen (Dave) Walker, Christine Conley and sister-in-law Noradee Jensen. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and brother Dennis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the LDS chapel at 401 W. 1st S. in Rigby, Idaho. A viewing will be held at 12:00 pm, prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
