Fred Jay Lords, 56 of Roberts, Idaho passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015.
He was born November 15, 1958 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Kenneth I. Lords and Lois M. Gardner Lords. Fred attended elementary and junior high school in Roberts and attended West Jefferson High School in Terreton, Idaho.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 22 years. He then worked for C.R. England trucking, and for the last 10 years has worked for Del Ray Holm and Holm Bros. Farms in Roberts as a shop mechanic and machine operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. He loved riding his Harley with POW/MIA, and his friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Tabatha Lords of Wagon Mound, New Mexico, son, Kenneth Lords of Albuquerque, New Mexico, grandson, Jeremy Lords, mother, Lois M Lords, of Roberts, brother, Steven K. Lords, of Roberts, sisters, Shirlene Olson of Idaho Falls, Lola Wobken of Laplata, Missouri, Sharon Smith, of Roberts, Loretta (Brad) Combs of Cortez, Colorado, brother, Brian (Jennifer) Lords of Idaho falls, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lords, sister, Elva Brower, brother, Keith Lords, grandparents, Henry and Leva Lords and Ted and Elva White.
Fred was loved by so many and will be missed. His family will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Roberts LDS Chapel, 663 N. 2858 E. Roberts.
