Gary Keith Christensen, 72 of Terreton died Friday, October 08, 2010 at his home. He was born August 5, 1938 in Idaho Falls, the third child of Keith Christensen and Blanche Hyatt Christensen. He was raised and attended schools in Goshen and Shelley, as a youth he enjoyed riding his horse to the foothills and playing along the way. He served in the US Air Force for four years. On June 18, 1960, he married Rosella Marie Siems in Butte Montana. Together, He and Rody had 3 children, Cody was born in 1965, Wyatt, was born in 1967, and Cyndy was born in 1971. He farmed in the Terreton area for many years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Lions Club in Terreton. Gary was good man to his wife, children, and animals. He and Rody enjoyed their children and went to every football game and wrestling match to watch their children play or cheer. Gary loved to fish and watch sports on T.V. He had 6 grandchildren who he loved dearly. He is survived by his wife, Rosella Christensen, of Terreton, daughter, Cynthia Louise (Keon) Underwood, of San Diego, CA, sons, Wyatt (Gail) Christensen, of Arlington, Texas, Cody Christensen, of Blackfoot, sisters, Phyllis Gerald) Hansen, of Goshen, Elaine (Darrin) Nelson, of Post Falls, and a brother, Lynn (Marcia) Christensen, of Phoenix, Arizona, and six grandchildren. H e was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marcia. Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at the West Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Military honors will be provided by the Verle Skidmore Post 8893 Veterans Team.
