Gary Lynn Boyce

Gary Lynn Boyce, age 66, passed away March 10, 2022 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Gary was born on August 3, 1955 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to William O. Boyce and Jacqueline Noble Boyce. Gary was the oldest brother to Terry and Alan. He was raised in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School.

On November 20, 1976, Gary married Paula Diane (Meine) Boyce in Ririe, Idaho. They were blessed with 3 children: Candice, Crystal and Josh. Gary worked at George and Jessie’s Tire Store for 22 year and drove truck for Clayton’s, CedarPoint, Snake River Plains and Websters. He really enjoyed driving and the open road.

Gary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the outdoors, camping, riding dirt bikes, shooting guns and snow machining. He had a love for basketball like no other, watching any and all NBA games. Go Bulls! Every year there were family vacations spent on the road traveling and in the last few years, most Saturdays playing pool at the shop. Gary’s other love was rock and roll music, mostly Def Leppard. He saw them many times in concert and listened to their music all the time. We will miss you, dad. We love you.

Gary is survived by his wife, Paula, Candice (Eric) Coderre from Rigby, Crystal (Teryn) Herzberg from Boise, and  Gary “Josh” Boyce from Rigby. Sister Terry (Willy) Schmitt and brother Alan (Jen) Boyce with niece Hadley.  Gary has 10 grandkids: Alexis (Rob), Tyson, Brooke, Blayze, Houstyn, Kingzley, Rollyns, Quintyn, Trinity, Arkadian, and one great-grand daughter Everleigh Jayne.

He was preceded in death by his parents William O. Boyce and Jacqueline N. Boyce and great-grandson Jettson Reeve.

A visitation will be held at Eckersell Funeral Home at 101 West Main Street in Rigby, Idaho on Saturday, March 19 ^th , 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A graveside services will be held at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery at a later date.
