Gary Maurice Sharp, age 64, of Ucon died Wednesday, December 11, 2002.
Gary was born May 18, 1938 in Thornton, Idaho the son of Maurice Clinton Sharp and Afton
Bernice Grover Sharp. Gary was raised and attended school in Lyman and graduated from
Madison High School. He served in the Idaho National Guard throughout his life and served
active duty in Vietnam. Gary married Marilyn Sharp on December 18, 1959 in Clark, Idaho. He
worked as the AST in St. Anthony, Shop Supervisor in Idaho Falls and in Boise at Gowen Field
at the CSMS where he retired as a shop foreman. After retiring in the summer of 1991, Gary
worked for Avis Rent-A-Car as a shuttle driver. Gary enjoyed camping, fishing, ice fishing, four
wheeling, snowmobiling, traveling and driving.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Jeff.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 16, 2002 at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel at 11:00
a.m. with Bishop Tim Solomon conducting. The family will receive friends on Sunday,
December 15, 2002 at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and prior to
the services on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow the services at the
Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Idaho.
