Gene Andrew Sara

Gene Andrew Sara, 42, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at the Broadway Fields Assisted Living.

Gene was born July 9, 1979, in Red Lodge, Montana, to Edward John Sara and Mary-Lynn Munns Sara.  He was raised in Ririe and attended Rocky Mountain Middle School and graduated from Rigby High School.  He worked on ranches and farms in the local area.

Gene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and was a very caring person.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Mary Couch of Rigby; sister Kristi Lynn Olsen of Archer; and grandparents, Lynn and Mary Munns of Archer.

He was preceded in death by his brother; Cheyenne Sara and a sister; Codi Couch.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2021 at Sutton Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho 83442.
