George Allen Ditmore III, age 33, of Rigby, died at home, Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.
George was born August 21, 1973 at Wausau, Wisconsin a son of Allen Henry Ditmore Sr. and Roseanne Zalesky Ditmore. He married Janeene Anne Porter September 30, 2000 in Idaho Falls, They divorced in 2006. He established G.P.S., George’s Painting Service in 2001. He was proud to have success in business, but primarily “just wanted to see the smiles on (their) faces”. Painting was only one of George’s talents: He was a talented craftsman – refinishing antique furniture, building custom cabinets, and could fix almost anything. He loved the outdoors – fishing, hunting birds, target shooting, camping and hiking. More recently George traveled on vacation to Cancun and Maui, but his favorite destination was always Shadowkeep on Cedar Mountain, Utah. He spent countless hours working on his or other’s vehicles – and he truly enjoyed this. George had many true and faithful friends that he would do anything for. In reality, we all were blessed to have George in our lives. His unwavering loyalty, big heart, and fun-loving spirit will live on in all of us who loved him.
