Geraldine Pabst Morgan, 80, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009. Geraldine was born January 27, 1929, in Lorenzo, Idaho to Clarence and Wilda Pabst. She lived many years in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Glasgow, Montana, and Tetonia, Idaho, before returning to the Lorenzo area. For the past 25 years, Jack and Gerry also made Quartzsite, Arizona, their winter home among many family and friends. Gerry spent her life serving the Lord in many capacities for her church. She was a compassionate and giving soul, dedicated to her family and friends. She found joy in the wonders of nature and the little things in life—snow on the Tetons, cactus blossoms on the Arizona desert, and a beautiful garden. Everyone she met always felt welcome and comfortable in her home. Gerry was a generous person who enriched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. “For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.” Survivors: Her husband of 62 years, Jack Morgan; daughters, Mary Jo Brinkley, Ann Anderson and husband, Kevin; sons, Steve Morgan and wife, Diane, Jack E. Morgan and wife, Cheryl; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; Brothers, Gale and wife, Beverly, Calvin and wife, Jackie,Brent and wife, Tracy; sisters, Sandra and husband, Kenneth, Clarene and husband, Gaylon, and countless other family members and life-long friends. Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2009 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street Rigby, Idaho. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Friday, 1 hour prior to services both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
