Germaine Georgette Opheikens Van Leeuwen

Germaine (Opheikens) Van Leeuwen passed away on 10 December 2017 from natural causes at the age of 81. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on 26 Feb, 1936.  She was the daughter of Eber and Marie Davis.Germaine married Kenneth Burt Opheikens on the 12th of September, 1953. Widowed at the age of 59, she married Kenneth Van Leeuwen on 18th May, 2001.Germaine enjoyed making ceramics, crocheting, knitting and all kinds of crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She loved her husbands children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.Germaine is survived by her children: Kenneth (Nancy) Opheikens of Enumclaw, Wa, Randy (Pam) Opheikens of Rigby, Id and Marcie (Rodney) Hess of Westpoint, Ut. She has 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Kenneth Opheikens and her second husband Kenneth Van Leeuwen, her daughter Sharadee Richins, her parents Eber and Marie Davis, along with seven siblings Lois, June, Jack, Bud, Tim, and Carol and Hazel.Graveside services will be held at 1pm on 12 December 2017 at the Ogden City Cemetery (East side).
