Gladys Maude Miller, age 96, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Fairwinds in Idaho Falls.
Gladys was born December 22, 1913, at Shelton, Idaho a daughter to Albert William Brown and Olive Maude Page Brown. She attended Shelton and Idaho Falls Schools. She married William A. Miller November 30, 1932 in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She is a member of the LDS Church and held many positions. She worked as a retail sales clerk at Farrells Clothing Store in Idaho Falls for 22 years. Gladys and Bill enjoyed traveling, visiting their sons in Europe and Asia.
Survivors include two sons Bill (Connie) Miller of Tucson, Arizona and Brad (Suzanne) Miller of Salinas, California, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Beverly and all of her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday February 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Milo LDS Chapel with Bishop Bryan Cook officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hands of Hope Hospice, 1379 E. 17th St., Idaho Falls, ID 83404, or to a charity of your choice.
