Glenna Jane Danielson, 73, of Lewisville, Idaho passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Rigby, Idaho at the Sage Grove Assisted Living. She was born in Rigby, Idaho on February 4, 1952, the daughter of Joseph Rady McRae Jr and Jane Louisa Weekes McRae.

Glenna attended Archer-Lyman Elementary Schools and graduated from Madison High School. She grew up in Burton, Idaho. While at Madison High School she excelled in math.

Glenna also lived in Annis, and Lewisville, Idaho. She married Carl Danielson on September 21, 1973, in the old Annis LDS Church building. They later divorced.

Glenna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. She enjoyed having her ministering brothers and sisters come to visit her.

Glenna was an avid quilter. She gave some of her quilts away, and many others she sold. One was sent as far as Alaska. She also loved to bake and cook. She would share with others her cooking treasures.

Glenna worked for Idaho Fresh Pak in Lewisville, Idaho. While with Fresh Pak, she helped in the other potato warehouses around Lewisville. She also worked for Sam’s Club in Idaho Falls, Idaho before retiring.

Glenna is survived by her children; Susan (J. R.) Henderson of Annis, Idaho and Mark Danielson of Roberts, Idaho. Siblings; Jolene Holmes of Parker, Idaho Bart McRae of Thornton, Idaho and Danny McRae of Thornton, Idaho. She had seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Glenna is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Jane McRae. Sons, George Bruce Danielson, and Corey Enoch Danielson . A daughter, Christine Danielson. A sister, Dorothy Burkman.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID  83442). The family will meet with friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 am at Eckersell’s. Interment will be in the Grant Central Cemetery.
