Goldie Beatrice Lowder

Goldie Beatrice Lowder, age 84, of Rigby died December 7, 2002. Goldie was born on March 16, 1918 in LaBelle, Idaho the daughter of Jens Christen Gundersen and Louise Caroline Andersen Gundersen. She attended elementary through high school in Rigby, and graduated from Rigby High School. After graduation she moved to Boise, Idaho to attend Beauty College. Goldie married Leslie J. Lowder and they had two daughters Marlene and Myrna. Les and Goldie owned city cleaners in Rigby and later they bought their farm. Goldie taught 4-H and in the primary. Goldie was a loving mother and homemaker for her family. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, gardening, fishing, camping, painting, picnics with her grandchildren, crocheting afigans, baby doll dresses, barbie dresses for her grandchildren, and taking trips with her daughters and sons-in-laws. Survivors include Daughter Marlene (Warren) Burns of Twin Falls, Idaho 5 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren 5 great great grandchildren Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Les, daughter Myrna, and a great grandson James. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2002 at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at the Eckesell Memorial Chapel from 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m.
