Gordon Goody Hall, 85, of Annis, Idaho passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Gordon was born February 26, 1926, in Rigby to Victor Warren Hall and Whaneta Goody. He spent his youth in Annis and attended schools in Annis and Lewisville. He attended Ricks College. On April 17, 1946, Gordon married Zelma Hansen in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He had a dairy farm in Annis and lived there his entire life. He was a member of the LDS church and served as an Elder’s quorum president, High Priest Group leader, stake missionary, High Councilman, as a Sunday school teacher, and as an officiator at the Idaho Falls Temple. He served a mission in Nauvoo, Illinois with his wife, Zelma. Most recently he served 17 years at the Idaho Falls Regional Family History Center. In addition to his love of dairy and farming, Gordon excelled in oil painting and delighted many with his landscape pictures. He enjoyed family history research as well. In July 2009, Gordon married Jean Davenport May. He is survived by a brother, Garth V. Hall (Carmen) of Idaho Falls, and a sister, Ramona Robison (Jay) of Bountiful, Utah, His children Jerry (Margaret) Hall, Nile (Debby) Hall, Kevin (Debra) Hall, Ricki (Barbara) Hall, Marilyn (Larry) Walker, 27 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Zelma, and son-in-law, Larry Walker. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at the Menan Stake Center. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Menan Stake Center and from 9:30 to 10:45, prior to services. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
