Graig Alan Briggs

On the afternoon of October 25th, 2014, Graig Alan Briggs passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center due to cancer and related treatment. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on October 19th 1981. He was the second child of the late Bradley Arnold Briggs and Deanne Killian Dial. He graduated from Rigby High School and received his Associates degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho. He worked at Ferguson Plumbing as an inside salesman for the past ten years. As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints, he served a full-time mission in the Salvador Brazil mission. He grew up in the Rigby 2nd ward of the Rigby East Stake where he received his Eagle Scout award when he was fourteen. He was a passionate outdoorsman. From an early age, he loved to go camping with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorbike riding. Graig was a tremendous football player and his love for sports continued after high school. He enjoyed spending time watching his nieces and nephews compete at their sporting events. Graig was a loyal friend. He developed friendships throughout his childhood which have continued until his passing. Graig was survived by his mother, Deanne (Paul) Dial, brothers, Justin (Rebecca) Briggs, Tory (Lindsey) Briggs, Jace (Whitney) Briggs, Marc (Tia) Briggs, Ryan (Rebecca) Dial and several nieces and nephews. Graig was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Arnold Briggs, grandmother, Marva Briggs, Grandfather, Max Killian, and cousin, Chelsea Taylor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the 15th Ward LDS Chapel, 602 Sundance, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
