Gus E Hansen

Gus E Hansen, age 57, of Rexburg, passed away at the family ranch in Tetonia, Friday, August 12, 2016. Gus was born July 1, 1959 in Rexburg, Idaho a son to Miles Norman Hansen and Ramona Mary McCracken Hansen. He attended schools in the Teton Basin, graduating from Teton High School. He married Doris Mae Koon, June 8th 1979 in Rexburg, Idaho. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended EITC in Idaho Falls and earned a degree as an Electronic Technician. He was employed by Rexburg Music and for Local News 8 and Channel 3 as an Electronic Technician. He worked on the family ranch in near Tetonia all his life and enjoyed raising Cattle. He is survived by his wife, Doris Koon of Rexburg, a daughter Jenifer Lynn Hansen of Rexburg, a son Karl Gus Hansen of Rexburg, a sister, Rita (James) Smith of Rexburg, three brothers: Lee (Elaine) Hansen of New Hampton, New Hampshire, Lynn (Lynette) Hansen of Utah and Glade (Kellie) Hansen of Clementsville, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Larry.
