Harvey James Hunt, 72, of Rigby, Idaho and Pettycreek Drainage, Alberton, Montana died Saturday, October 02, 2004 at the Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho.
Harvey was born December 24, 1931 at Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho the son of Taylor Hunt and Natalie Clark Hunt. He graduated from Coeur d’ Alene High School in 1950.
He married Verna Shewfelt in 1951, they were later divorced. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and was honorably discharged. He is a graduate of Indiana Tech College in 1958. He worked in the Aerospace Industry in California, then later operated a motel in Hailey, Idaho. He was a gunsmith and active outdoorsman.
He married Norma Mae Williams in Hamilton, Montana on December 7, 1981. Together they moved to Montana and built a beautiful log home in the Pettycreek Drainage.
He was a wonderful man who was loved by his wife and family. He loved his coffee breaks and enjoyed his many waitress friends. We love him dearly and know he is at peace with his dogs that he loved.
He is survived by his wife Norma M. Hunt of Rigby, Idaho and Pettycreek, Montana. Two daughters, Janice (Gary) Duncan of Swan Valley, Idaho and Laurel Seik of Hamilton, Montana. A son, Ralph Hunt of Fairfield, Idaho. A step-daughter, Joyce (Kevin) Smart of Morris, Illinois and a step-son, Tom Kaylor of Darby, Montana. Sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
