Henrietta Morga

Henrietta Morgan, 87, of Menan, died Sunday, October 24, 2010, at her home. She was born June 20, 1923, in Marysville, Idaho to Lucius Hale Hendricks and Claudia Gennette Dayley. She was raised and attended schools in the Rexburg area, graduating from Madison High School. She married William Blaine Morgan December 30, 1941, in LaBelle, together they had 6 children. Early in her marriage she worked for Menan Cold Storage and then she worked for Idaho Fresh Pack for many years, until her retirement. Henrietta was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved traveling with her husband in his truck driving career, going camping with the family, and trips with her daughters. She enjoyed gardening and no produce would go to waste after the harvest was complete. She loved baking huge batches of bread to share with family and friends. She loved catering to and enjoyed the company of anyone who stopped by, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her number one interest was caring for the love of her life, her husband of 68 years. She is survived by her husband, William Blaine Morgan, of Menan, daughters, Karen (Bob) Chapple of Idaho Falls, Kathy (Roger) Poole of Menan, Konnie (Mike) Barney of Menan, Karol (Craig) Drake of Lewisville, sons, Steve (Koreen) Morgan of Rexburg, Len (Cathy) Morgan of Menan, 22 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010, at the Menan LDS Church, on Main Street, with Bishop Gary Asper, conducting. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services, both at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
