Holli Ann Zaugg Davis, 39, of Rigby, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg.
Holli was born in Idaho Falls, December 30, 1976 a daughter to Alonzo Nebeker Zaugg and Ellen Mae Gordon Zaugg. She attended and graduated from Ririe High School in 1995 and was on the National Deans list for academic performance. She attended Ricks College from 1995 to 1997, where she earned an Associate’s degree in Accounting.
On August 23, 1996 she married Mathew Fielding Davis in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Holli worked at Wells Fargo Bank as a teller in Rexburg and Rigby until she started her family. She also worked as a Medical Auditor with Premier Therapy but here most cherished career was that of mommy.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as a Relief Society President at her Ricks College Ward, as pianist, young women’s leader, Sunday school teacher and Cub Scout leader.
Holli was a caring person who lived by faith. Her greatest love was her family. Her life was an example of her faith and devotion to God and to her family. She died as she lived – surrounded by family, forever true to God, true to her family and filled with peace.
She is survived by her husband Mathew Davis, a daughter McKaydee Davis, four sons: Kaden Davis, Mason Davis, Nathan Davis and Carter Davis, her parents, Alonzor Zaugg and Ellen Gordon Zaugg, a sister Myndee Zaugg Casperson (Karl), two brothers: Scott Zaugg (Troy), Kenneth Zaugg (Dorothy)and sister-in-law Vonda Zaugg.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother Mike Zaugg.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ririe LDS Stake Center, 14061 North 130 West, Ririe, Idaho, with Bishop Justin Miller, conducting. The family will visit with friends at the Ririe LDS Stake Center on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
