Ina Thomson, 69, of Rigby, Idaho passed away, Saturday, June, 8, 2024 at East Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Ina was born April 22, 1955 in Rigby, Idaho, the daughter of Jesse Youngstrom and Ina Beth Bates Youngstrom.

Ina married Russell Thomson, September 10, 1982 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They later divorced. She married Ron Skarr on April 19, 1996 in Menan, Idaho and moved their family to Ogden, Utah. After they divorced, she moved back to the Annis-Menan area and started working in packaging for Idahoan Foods in Lewisville, Idaho.

Ina was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Librarian, Ward Bulletin Specialist and as a nursery leader.

Ina loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and holding family dinners.

Ina is survived by her children; Jessica (Adam) Dannehl of Kimberly, Idaho and Tyler (Cassie) Thomson of Rigby, Idaho. A sister, Jan Carpenter of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and a brother, Dana (Kathy) Youngstrom of Menan, Idaho. She had six grandchildren; Shyann, Emily, Cole D., Colton, Kelsie, and Lexie T.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Jesse and Ina Beth Youngstrom, and two sisters; Beth J Gould, and twin sister Inez Youngstrom.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 in the Menan LDS Stake Center (698 North 3600 East, Menan, ID  83434) at 11:00 AM. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday night, June 12, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM and again on Thursday prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, both at the church. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
