Iris Ann Landon; 73, of Idaho Falls, Idaho died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was born March 6, 1930 at Ririe, Idaho the daughter of Edwin Ransom Harris and Dorothy Ann Dutson Harris. She attended school at Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School. She married Dennis Lamar Landon on March 16, 1960. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She established a gleaning program with EISA and was recognized by United Way and the government of Idaho. She loved fishing, camping, traveling with family and friends. She greatly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Dennis Lamar Landon of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Three daughters; Derri Dee Leonard of Logan, Utah, Judee (Bill Reed) Mortensen of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Janabeth (Kenneth) Potter of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Two sons; Rick Landon of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Tory (Holly) Landon of Idaho Falls, Idaho. A sister Rita (Gary) Hammer of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers; Carl Harris, cleon Harris, Wendell Harris, Max Harris, Lee Harris and Robert Harris. Three sisters; Verla Hansen, Nola Mead and Beth Tanner. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kearney 1st Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Mick Coombs officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday, May 9, 2003 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel and again on Saturday, May 10, 2003 in the Kearney 1st Ward Chapel from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery in Ririe, Idaho following services.
