Irma Graciala Cutts
1932 – 2013
Our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend died on June 23, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She was born on November 2, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to Nellie and Paul Pedrin, hard-working Mexican immigrants who dearly loved their only child. She married Donald Cutts on April 7, 1956. Irma is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was sealed to her beloved companion in the Los Angeles LDS Temple in 1970.
Irma was an amazing lady with an abundance of love and concern for everyone she knew. As a young woman she attended St Mary's Academy in Los Angeles. As a wife and mother she was actively involved in Girl Scouts (she called herself a life-time girl scout), church activities, raising a family and working. She loved to paint and create. She loved to make people laugh, and to root for the under-dog. She found great pleasure in her children, and grandchildren, and was an example of love, patience and having a sense of humor in life to us all. She loved to watch her husband sing and perform, and her love and commitment to our Dad was without measure.
Irma is survived by her husband Don and by 3 of their 5 children and their spouses; Eileen and Tom Parker; Donna and Paul Knight, and Dan and Kathy Cutts.
She was preceded in death by her sons Steven and Joey - with whom she is again rejoined. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and her many dear friends.
We love you dear Mom. We will miss you for now, but look forward to the day we will be with you again.
