Jack Ralph Danks, 73 of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Jack was born April 4, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah a son of Seymour B. Danks and Delpha Hicks Ransom Danks. He graduated from Rigby High School. Jack married Linda Janae Young on October 10, 1963. Jack was a carpet installer where he worked hard for over 40 years and enjoyed the friends he made while working. He loved old cars and was a member of the E.I.E.I.O. Car Club for 30 years. He also worked for the city of Rigby and was a volunteer Fire Fighter. He was a good friend and was able to be found any day of the week at the North Highway Café, they lost their best customer. Jack enjoyed reading the paper and he could not start the day until it was read from cover to cover. Jack loved coaching his boys in various sports. He loved his grandkids and kids. He will be missed. Jack is survived by his wife Linda Danks of Idaho Falls, daughter JaNae (Kevin) Nielson of Rexburg, sons Brett Danks of Heiskell, Tennessee, Chad (Celeste) Danks of Greenwood, South Carolina, Sisters, June Danks of Mesa, Arizona, D’Lana Medrain of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Sharon Judkins of Mesa, Arizona, 6 grandchildren, Erika, Brayden, Sydney, Ashton, Camden, and Brynlee. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Jerry Danks. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
