Jack Wade Tucker, 81 of Ririe, Idaho passed away at his home Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Jack was born July 14, 1935 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Thomas T. Tucker and Iva Merritt Tucker. He married Kathy Sue Baldock October 9, 2014 in Brownwood, Texas. Jack was a professional roper and champion on the professional rodeo circuit. He also owned race horses and raced in New Mexico. He was an iron worker by trade and worked in the construction industry all over the country. He was also a member of the Iron Workers Union. Jack loved to work on cars, and enjoyed playing pool. He was known for his spontaneous day trips, and had the most beautiful smile. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Tucker, of Ririe, daughter, Stacy (David) Shoemaker, of Brownwood, Texas, son, Jack Wade (Veronica) Tucker II, of Ririe, Idaho, sisters, Jean Tucker, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Noka Harring of Seminole, Texas, Gary (Linda) Tucker, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, grandchildren, Alex Low and Allison Low, of Coleman, Texas, K’Dee and Hayes Lawson, of Ririe. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter K’Lynn Tucker, son, Jack Wade Tucker Jr. and a brother, David Tucker. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
