Jacqueline N. Boyce, 84, of Rigby died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Life Care Assisted Living Center in Idaho Falls.
Jacqueline was born January 13, 1931, in Moore, Idaho a daughter of James Alexander Noble and Alice LaVerda Reynolds Noble. She was raised and attended school in Moore and Arco and graduated from High school in Arco. She continued her education at Ricks College. Jacqueline is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for Westinghouse at the I.N.E.L. as a secretary. She married William Owen Boyce on January 6, 1953 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. She enjoyed cross-stitch art, camping with her family and traveling.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband William Boyce of Rigby, daughter Terry (Willy) Schmitt of Monteview, Idaho, sons, Gary (Paula) Boyce of Rigby, Alan (Jennifer) Boyce of Scotia, New York, sisters, Joyce (Lorand) Layton of Jerome, Idaho, Sharon (Carl) Rindfleisch of San Diego, CA., Laurel (Harold) Bateman of Salt Lake City, Utah, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the Rigby East Stake Center with Bishop Mike Clark conducting. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Funeral Home and prior to the service on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
