James Everett Briggs, 50, of Rexburg, Idaho, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
James was born April 8, 1976, in Rexburg, Idaho, the son of Lynn Elmer Briggs and Norma Lee Snodgrass Briggs. He has two older sisters, Cathy and Susan Briggs. He attended schools in Rexburg, Idaho, graduating from Madison High School.
James served for four years in the United States Navy as a plane captain. Followed by six years in the Air Force, working in the medical field. After retiring from the military, he worked as a dispatcher for Madison County for 23 years.
