James Leslie Ellis

James Leslie Ellis, age 65, of Challis, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Jim was born August 21, 1942 at Idaho Falls, Idaho a son of James Wendell and Arzula Delta Miller Ellis. He attended schools in King City, California graduating from King City High School. He then attended Chico State College. He worked as a Firefighter and as a Licensed Contractor in the state of California. He enjoyed sports, boating, camping, fishing, hunting and loved street racing. Survivors include: his wife Kathy Ellis of Challis, two daughter: Kimberly (Terry) Holt of Soqual, California and Karen (Peter) Northrop of Livermore, California, his mother Arzula Ellis of Rigby, two sisters: Betty (Dal) Gordon of St. George, Utah and Judy (Harley) Jentzsch of Park City, Utah, one brother Dick (Marsha) Ellis of Newdale, Idaho and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
