James Thomas Scuderi

James Thomas Scuderi, 65, of Rexburg passed away Monday, October 15, 2012, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born December 19, 1946, in Rome, New York to John Scuderi and Theresa Chilluffo Scuderi. He attended Rome Free Academy in Rome, New York. Upon High School Graduation he joined the US Air Force. On September 15, 1967 he married Blanche N. Scott in her mother’s home. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. James worked as a Draftsman and a Mechanical Engineer. James is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; he enjoyed scuba diving and was a Certified PADI Scuba Diver. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Scuderi, of Rexburg, daughters, J. Noreen “Cotton” Johnson, of Pennsville, New Jersey, La Treese (Phil) Butcher, of Biloxi, Mississippi, sons, Scot Kenn Scuderi, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Rodney Raymond (Pam) Scuderi, of Sandy, Utah, Christopher (Teinamarrie) Scuderi, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and a sister, Joan White, of Rome, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 22, 2012, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
