The true Mr. Incredible Jan Earl Hansen lifted the gates to heaven on October 25, 2014.
Our superhero was born Nov. 24th 1961 in Rexburg Idaho to the late Earl Lyle Hansen and Rose Irene Machen Hansen. The second of 9 children, Jan had to find his super powers early when his older brother Van was killed in 1978.
The incredible Jan served a LDS mission to Uruguay South America. Six months after he arrived home his car was frequenting the local radio station where his forever companion captivated him with her voice. The two superheroes joined forces for time and all eternity August 5, 1983. They have been married 31 years and have two beautiful children Cody (Lauriejo) Hansen and Tina (Brian) Hill and two adorable twin grandchildren James and Emmaleah.
He loved being a grandpa and cherished his time with them. The incredible Jan grew up as a farm boy, turned wrenches as refer mechanic, counted money, and gave loans as a banker but he loved farming and investing the most. His powers intensified by all things chocolate but especially, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate almond ice cream, chocolate milk, chocolate covered almonds and snickers not necessarily in that order. His nemeses are Brussels sprouts, liars, white rice, Marshal and Swifts and Obama Care not necessarily in that order.
The incredible Jan is survived by his super-family, his Giving, Determined, Gadget Woman, Roberta; courageously Caring Cody; Tender Thoughtful Tina; Joyous Lovable James; and Bright and Bubbly Emmaleah; his mother Irene, his siblings Pam, LaRaine, Shelly, Rocky, Kelly, and Kimberly. This super-family has always had an open door policy so they have accrued many adopted children and siblings. They know who they are.
Superheroes are things of legends but we all have been touched by this man's many talents and generosity. He was a superhero to us! We love you Dad, Papa
Han, Janathan, Brother, Son, Friend, My Love, our Mr. Incredible.
