Janet Marie Martin

Janet Marie Martin, 74 of Rigby died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Life Care Center in Idaho Falls. Jan was born April 17, 1943 in Richland, Oregon a daughter of Henry Gaskill and Dorothy Mickelson Gaskill. She was raised and attended school in Richland, Oregon and graduated high school there. Jan was raised by her grandparents Ethel and Ray Graven. Jan married Les Bernard. They were later divorced. She married Steve Quigley and he preceded her in death. She married Don Martin and he also preceded her in death. Jan worked for the Baker City Sheriff’s office as a dispatcher for a number of years. She enjoyed racing horses with her husband and family throughout the intermountain west. Jan was a member of the National Chariot Association. She loved her children and grandchildren and supported them in all their activities. Jan is survived by her sons, Jim (Melissa) Bernard and Glen (Sara) Quigley both of Rigby, grandchildren, Dakri (Brock) Bernard-Gilstrap of Rigby, Dalin Bernard of San Francisco, California, Dawson Bernard, Maci Quigley, Avri Quigley, Quin Quigley, Neli Quigley all of Rigby. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter Sandra Lynne and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be Friday, May 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel.
