Janice Lynn Burnside

Janice Lynn Jones Burnside, age 65, of Rigby, died at her home, Monday January 3, 2011. She was born December 9, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to Gilbert LeRoy Jones and Evelyn Mae Kronberg. She attended schools in Pocatello, Idaho, Hayward, California and Bonneville High School. On April 25, 1964, she married her sweetheart Clyde Jay Burnside in Eureka, Nevada. Janice enjoyed giving gifts, camping, fishing, remodeling, embroidering, quilting, tole painting, and was very creative with any project she came up with. She also enjoyed her yard work and flowerbeds. Most of all, her kids and grandkids were the light of her life. Janice was a very caring and giving person. Survivors include her husband Clyde Jay Burnisde, her children, Bryan Jay Burnside, Dustin G. Burnside all of Rigby. Brandy (Duane) Rinheart, Chief (Misty) Burnside and Autumn (Kim) Bassett all of St. Anthony. One sister, Kathy (Rick) Weimer and four Brothers, Keith (Robin) Jones, Kent Jones all of Seattle, Washington, Lloyd Jones, Kraig Jones, of Rigby, one aunt, Margaret nelson, of Idaho Falls. Her beloved Burnside family, Flossie, Moe, Lorane, Cleve, Jeannie, Darlean, Ray, Bellva, Buzz, DeAnna, Brion, Dianna, Larry, 11 grandchildren 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son Brandon Joe, her parents, Gilbert and Evelyn Jones, her father-in-law, Doyle Jay Burnside, one niece Jeannie Marie Burnside and one brother-in-law, Michael Kent McNeil. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clark Ward LDS Church. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Clark LDS Church and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
