Janie Anne Franks

Janie Anne Franks, 30, of Idaho Falls, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009. She was born March 8, 1979, in Ogden, Utah to Kenny Webb Franks and Denise Olsen Franks. She grew up in Lovell, Wyoming, and Menan, Idaho. She attended Midway Elementary, Rigby Jr. High, and graduated from Rigby High School. She continued her education at EITC, in Idaho Falls and received training as a medical assistant. She worked as a medical assistant, and at Arby’s in Idaho Falls. She married Roger Nowakowski in 1996, they later divorced. In 2006 she married Jonathon Landon, they later divorced. Janie loved helping others, poetry, writing, fashion, home decorating, music and dancing. She is survived by a son, Brendan Nowakowski, her mother, Denise Franks, her twin sister, Jamie (Paul) Jenkins, sisters,Nicole (Eric) Nigg, Natalie Franks, all of Idaho Falls, Julie (Eric) Mann of Lovell, WY, and a brother, Richard Franks, of Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenny Webb Franks, and a brother, Keith Webb Franks. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2009, at Rigby Pioneer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Monday, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main St., Rigby.
