Jared Reynold Tanner

Jared Reynold Tanner, 46 of Rigby, Idaho, passed away Friday, November 27, 2021.

Jared was born March 29, 1975 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Reynold D Tanner and Kathleen Crossley Tanner.  He was raised and attended schools in Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School.  He continued his education at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

Jared worked as a loan officer for Adam Bell Financial in Idaho Falls, Idaho and Freedom Mortgage in Utah.  He also worked as a potato broker for Eagle Eye Produce in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Jared was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He was so loved by his nieces and nephews!  Jared lived life with a fierce passion that just made you smile!  He loved being outdoors; dirt biking, hunting, fishing, camping, jetboating and Razor riding were some of his favorite hobbies.  While our hearts are broken, we know that he now has peace and happiness and we will soon meet again.

He is survived by his parents; Reynold and Kathy Tanner of Rigby; daughter, Kennidy Davies of Moscow, Idaho; sons, Braeden Larsen of Hamer, Idaho, Landen Larsen of Hamer, Idaho; sister, Jana (Rob) Peterson of Draper, Utah; brothers, Justin (Annie) Tanner of Montrose, Colorado, Jake (Baylee) Tanner of Rigby, Idaho; grandmother, Maxine Crossley; and 1 grandson.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Crossley, grandparents; Gladys and Donald Tanner; and a nephew Ethan Tanner.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com
