Jarvis John Johnson, 50 of Idaho Falls died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born November 22, 1964 in Rexburg, Idaho to Harold Glen Johnson and Carol Ida Scott Johnson. He was raised and attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Skyline High School in Idhao Falls. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He also spoke German. Jarvis worked in Idaho Falls as a postman for many years.
He enjoyed photography, fishing, cooking, and collecting coins and stamps.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Daniel) Broadfoot, of Idaho Falls, Lindsay (Tony) Hart, of Lehi, Utah. Sisters, Luena (Wayne) Dunn, of Saint Anthony, Debra Garret of Minnesota, Jerry (Skip) Lethin of Denison, Texas, Tina (Bryce) Slavik, of Boise, and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ida Scott Johnson and father Harold Glen Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2014 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
